"We" is anyone who sees evolution as the way we came about. Be it by a total lack of divine intent, or as God's way of making us all -- but not LogicDude, it'd be unfair to God to blame Him for that.
Derek - August 30, 2009, 10:09 pm
Evolution and religion don't have to be separate, but it satisfies Occam's razor so much better. :-)
LOLOLOL - August 22, 2009, 10:57 pm
Evolution and religion don't HAVE to be seperate, maybe thats how other, more sophisticated creatures (like us) were made... and also stfu im not an Old testiment fanatic i'm just saying what I think of this motifake after all thats what commenting is! :)
mooooooooooooooooooooooo - April 28, 2009, 12:12 pm
I didn't know you cared.
LogicDude - April 28, 2009, 9:44 am
Thanks mooooooo...hey ummmm, you aren't doing anything Friday night are you? Do you have a personal profile I can view on MooseSpace.com? Maybe we could hook up or something, you know, just watch a movie, maybe slip a roofie in your drink or something...?
HtD - April 28, 2009, 4:36 am
Of course.
mooooooooooooooooooooooooo - April 28, 2009, 4:07 am
Thanks Logicdude. For supporting the funny. I may not always agree with you but some of your stuff is fucking hilarious.

LD, carbon dating is not the only method used to date a fossil.
Canuck - April 27, 2009, 11:50 am
That Timmy fella just seems desperate for attention.
LogicDude - April 27, 2009, 9:31 am
when idiots attack other's posters out of the blue because their life sucks, which is a prime Timmy motivator. Granted, some of my own comments may "seem" to be that way, but if they are they are rarely meant to be taken that way. Except to Sean. Bye!
LogicDude - April 27, 2009, 9:29 am
Personally I'm with Canuck (other posts) and am here for the Funny. I'm not a Biblical Scholar or Scientist. But I do really dislike that Timmy guy....which causes great moral conflict...what with me being a Christian and all. I just can't stand it when
LogicDude - April 27, 2009, 9:26 am
...prove that God doesn't exist. Like we were all created from some kind of universal sneeze instead. The carbon dating thing is this: if it thinks batteries are 100+ years old and can't tell how old a clam shell is, why should I believe it's accuracy?
LogicDude - April 27, 2009, 9:25 am
I don't try to force my religious beliefs on anyone - simply can't be and shouldn't be done. Do that and you're branded a nutbag (or Taliban, oooooh!). I just find it amusing at times that atheists, who shouldn't care, spend a LOT of time trying to ...
Canuck - April 26, 2009, 11:48 pm
who have different beliefs. Christians have been forcing those beliefs on others since roman times. The planet is the closest thing we have to a god and look how we treat it.
Canuck - April 26, 2009, 11:45 pm
Feelin left out so i just wanted to pont out that just because a cult gets really really popular does not make it any less of a cult! The bible has been re-written so many times that any valuable message was lost years ago. God is an excuse to hate others
Sean - April 26, 2009, 7:15 pm
I have a Pirate Fish on the back of my car. (The six by fourish inched silver dealie.) Those bastards better not trifle with the FSM. It would be aboot time somone handed them their arses if they did. Gotta go. Bye.
mooooooooooooooo - April 26, 2009, 7:08 pm
make petty comments or throw insults at peoples core beliefs just because I don't agree. I know how I would feel is someone made rude comments aboot my beloved Flying Spaghetti Monster.
moooooooooooooooooooooo - April 26, 2009, 7:05 pm
Oh don't get me wrong Sean. I can be extremely insensitive at times. I just find that when the topic is religion it is best to state how I feel with careful wording. I find that Religious people can have very strong beliefs. And I think it is wrong to
Sean - April 26, 2009, 6:43 pm
But here at Motifake, we are nothing if not sensitive (I couldn't even keep a straight face as I typed that). Take it easy, man.
moooooooooooooo - April 26, 2009, 6:37 pm
My statement wasn't really directed at LD. I was just speaking my mind on the topic. like I said I did not intend to insult anyone.
Sean - April 26, 2009, 6:29 pm
RON's poster seems to explain and reconcile evolutionary theory and the creation narrative in the Bible.
Sean - April 26, 2009, 6:28 pm
let's just say that it's painfull to watch him try to trade insults with LD. And while me and LD seem to be on different sides of the Grand Canyon on this issue, I have not doubt he could bean me with a lemon from there. Anyway, this is Motifake and ...
Sean - April 26, 2009, 6:26 pm
Hey, moooooooooooooooo, there was a time even, quite recenlty when I would have said what you said in more or less the same words, but now LD scares me. Sure he's smart and even tempered, but DON'T make him mad. There's this guy named Timmy ... well ...
moooooooooooooooo - April 26, 2009, 6:17 pm
from either side. I don't want to insult anyone but but I think that using the bible to back your argument is kinda silly. It's just fiction. that should be obvious to any logical person.
moooooooooooooooooooo - April 26, 2009, 6:14 pm
I can't seem to find any evidence that carbon dating has been disproved (disproven isn't a word) Only studies that show that some things (like mollusk shells) when dated can show anomalous results. I know that there is controversy but nothing concrete
LogicDude - April 26, 2009, 4:03 pm
The Bible doesn't specifically mention many of the animals today - no mention of apes anywhere - so why would dinosaurs NOT being mentioned mean anything? LOL at your date comment though! I think some of mine were made from lead and marshmallow fluff.
agdaniele - April 26, 2009, 3:47 pm
Almost 60 percent of my dates have been carbon-based.
agdaniele - April 26, 2009, 3:45 pm
Millions, billions... whatever... it also is clear that the fossilization and composition is older than the good book's 10,000 year estimation. And as soon as they find the lost part of the bible that mentions any dinosaurs, I'll pay closer attention.
Sean - April 26, 2009, 3:32 pm
But if they weren't here millions of years ago, where were they? *snickers*
LogicDude - April 26, 2009, 3:24 pm
Since "carbon dating" has been disproven over and over, who really knows how long anything has been around? No scientist I know of has been able to produce SOLID, UNDISPUTABLE evidence that indicates dinosaurs were here "millions" of years ago...
agdaniele - April 26, 2009, 12:51 pm
God put fossils on earth to expose religious fanatics who can't think for themselves. And it worked like a charm.
Hector - April 26, 2009, 12:48 pm
"God put [dinosaur fossils] here to test our faith!"... I think God put you here to test my faith, dude. Does that bother anybody else, the idea that God might be fucking with our heads? I have trouble sleeping with that knowledge." Bill Hicks

ummm... yea there IS trans-species fossils and most major religions are okay with people believing in evolultion
dude - February 25, 2009, 6:33 pm
Too bad that there are no trans species fossils. Also, too bad that carbon dating, used to date fossils, says that snickers bars are 100 years old. FAIL.
Claire - February 25, 2009, 6:10 pm
Depends, what would you think of someone who claimed God talked to them? Not to mention that the Bible was edited a long time ago, we don't know what was added and taken out.
Hector - February 25, 2009, 3:02 pm
Here's to all the people who can't or won't think for themselves. They won't be "swayed by facts in the face of a higher truth".

Nero - February 24, 2009, 7:31 pm
Or that a jewish zombie was sent from the big invisible man in the sky to "save" us.
Claire - February 24, 2009, 7:20 pm
Or like a book written 2,000 years ago is completely accurate.
ristar - February 24, 2009, 6:00 pm
You have no more proof than we do. Just because you have fossils doesn't mean that intelligent design didn't take place. That's like saying a cap of water on a table must have been filled by rain.

It's the Tikaalik fish from the Devonian period, about 400 million yrs ago.

It looks like Battlestar Galactia
LogicDude - February 17, 2009, 2:32 pm

Sean - February 17, 2009, 2:23 pm
Oh, c'mon. Everybody knows that Satan put them there so as to lead the weak of faith astray. P.s.: doritos ... LogicDude operates mostly on doritos.
Nero - February 17, 2009, 1:48 pm
Irony: A guy named LogicDude who operates on faith rather than logic.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Nature is not inherently beautiful, it is we who judge if it is beautiful.

Nothing terrifies like somebody with evidence that you will be going to hell. You must look at the evidence or mock the hell out of them. Which one's easier?

Looks like TimMay got timmied LOL
MrRandom - October 29, 2009, 9:29 pm
I'm not gonna lie, I used to care about ratings, but after seeing so many good posters/user's get bombed, and seeing vote rigging, it wasn't hard to learn its simply not worth it to judge solely on the rating alone.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 8:11 pm
The only wise choice. I agree.
rerun - October 29, 2009, 8:09 pm

well, in that case I have no issues with how my peers approve or disapprove my posters.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 8:08 pm
You definitely have friends here, rerun... this is more of a workplace/schoolyard voter thing... not actual motifakers. That's the beef.
rerun - October 29, 2009, 8:04 pm

I thing=k I have friends here, yet I don't have a top 5 nor have I ever had one (to my knowledge). I think posters like this should inspire us old timers to keep up our game or improve it.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 6:47 pm
But, ratings and membership are for the greater good.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 6:46 pm
You're not in the minority, dude... although it would seem otherwise.
Dude 4515 - October 29, 2009, 6:30 pm
I must say, I got the comment. still don't think the poster's funny. one lion
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 3:30 pm
Tomato, tomahto... you know?
BoneCD - October 29, 2009, 3:29 pm
Or have access multiple proxies...nuff said on this subject
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 3:25 pm
It's easy to do if you work in a call center or do it out of a computer room in a university. It's a sign of the times, Random. Not cool, but it's a fact.
MrRandom - October 29, 2009, 3:21 pm
75 votes already, seems a bit high to me.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 3:20 pm
Like it or not... it's now a classic here.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 3:19 pm
I concur. And to further quote Oppenheimer... No an should escape our site without knowing how lame he is.
BoneCD - October 29, 2009, 3:17 pm
But with all the proxy references (and I wont go into that) it's classic!
Motifake Wit Liberation Front - October 29, 2009, 3:13 pm
I must confess, I do not like this poster, Timmay or not. I got the Oppenheimer reference, which was a Bhagavad Gita quote btw, but "creator of lions"? It just seems like a so-so plea for votes. I usually don't like those unless they're very clever.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 3:06 pm
Eh hait yew guyz.
BoneCD - October 29, 2009, 3:05 pm
Other than the "Proxy Tutorial" *shakes head* this is pretty funny! You go TimMAY! Hope you're not a one hit wonder...
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 1:53 pm
LOL.... I think Bob just attacked me!
bOB cHIN - October 29, 2009, 1:52 pm
Ummm...Hidemya$$.com has nothing to do with stashing your favorite burro someplace where he cannot be found. Anyway...this site needs more lions, the three toed sloths like myself enjoy a good chase.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 1:24 pm
This is above and beyond that fact, but yes, Canada... that is exactly what happens. There are pros and cons... but it helps give a boost to those that deserve it. There are loopholes... and it was just a matter of time before someone took advantge of it.
CANADA - October 29, 2009, 1:19 pm
its all because of the top 5, keeps the top rated around and more peple vote on it
CANADA - October 29, 2009, 1:19 pm
my chinese one has been sitting at around 160 votes for a few days now
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 11:44 am
Even my good ones halt at around 30 votes. Kids... take notes... this is how it's done.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 11:42 am
Hall of fame.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 11:36 am
This is the best example of why motifakers shouldn't let bad ratings get to them.
Chopperliscious - October 29, 2009, 11:36 am
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 11:35 am
They'll own the HOF if this takes hold, Moooo... nothing to do with quality, just out-smarting other motifakers.
Chopperliscious - October 29, 2009, 11:34 am
Okay Moo. A beloved Narc.
Mooooooooooooooooooo - October 29, 2009, 11:34 am
I was just joking aboot the vote rigging, I believe people are just 5ing a beloved south park character.
Chopperliscious - October 29, 2009, 11:33 am
Timmy is Narc.
agdaniele - October 29, 2009, 11:18 am
Face it, guys... it's the future of motifake. If you've got friends, your poster will be top 5.
motifake - October 29, 2009, 10:59 am

Pretty funny when you think about it... timmies, destroyers of motifake
motifake - October 29, 2009, 10:53 am

"I am become" is probably a reference to Oppenheimer's "I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds". Oh... and there is no vote fraud so far.
DreMagnum - October 29, 2009, 10:23 am
ok nevermind, it jumped to 23
DreMagnum - October 29, 2009, 10:23 am
its got like 7 votes, not really vote rigging
Mooooooooooooooooooo - October 29, 2009, 10:21 am
VOTE Rigging!!!!!!!!VOTE Rigging!!!!!!!
DreMagnum - October 29, 2009, 10:13 am
I dont get it either, I am become? Thats not even proper english. I want to know the real creator of this too, i kind of doubt we have a new Ronsart type o poster maker
Mooooooooooooooooooo - October 29, 2009, 10:00 am
Maybe I'm missing something (seriously, I might be) I don't get why this is funny. I reserve my vote until someone explains it to me......maybe I'm too sober?

I am not sure if this is put up genuinely, or poking fun at creationists. I would hope for the sake of humanity it is the latter.

When we produce something our flaws are shown in that creation and are a reflection of our ability. Therefore even if god did exist why would you want to worship someone that created such a flawed world, one that must be flawed as well?
Conclusion - June 24, 2009, 2:17 pm
It is proven that it is an unprovable question. (Please note that this reasoning is for a generic all-powerful consciousness and does not apply any particular religions, because some can be proven wrong.)
#2-let's prove He doesn't exist - June 24, 2009, 2:13 pm
It is impossible to prove he doesn't exist because if he is all-powerful he could hide from any of us easily (for which reasons? I don't know, for the same he decided to create the universe) Bottom line, even if we can't find him, it doesn't mean anything
#1-let's prove He exists - June 24, 2009, 2:10 pm
It is impossible to prove he exist because even if an all powerful being would come down to us and do anything we can imagine, how can we know that there is nothing more an all-powerful being should be able to do.
Ed-Hyde - June 24, 2009, 1:13 pm
Proof God Exists: 1. Platypus-Evolve THAT Darwin. 2. Prayers actually do get answered. Prayers come in two varieties. Simply talking to God, or asking for something. Most people simply don't know how to ask, how to pray, or just don't ask at all.
God - March 12, 2009, 7:16 pm
How dare you question me
no one - March 12, 2009, 5:15 pm
if god can do every thing than can he make a bolder so massive that even he can not move it? if so/not he can not do every thing.
Hector - February 18, 2009, 1:27 pm
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Just because you can't explain those strange lights doesn't mean the lights are alien spacecraft. The claim that there is a God or Gods should be proven true by those making the claims.
Nero - February 18, 2009, 1:19 pm
Vince, I am a steadfast atheist. However, when I say there is no proof of god(s), theists simply state there is no proof to the opposite. The most devout theists and atheists are all stuck in the middle ground.
VinceVicious - January 19, 2009, 5:43 pm
I agree. But I don't like having a middle ground stance. I want someone to utterly convince me.
motifake - January 19, 2009, 5:39 pm

If you answer the question "Do you BELIEVE in god?" in any way other than YES, then you lack a positive belief in god(s), and are therefore at least a weak atheist.

SAGE GRAYBEARDS are GODS...just another pic of one.
VinceVicious - January 19, 2009, 5:34 pm
In fact prior to reding that, that's what I thought Agnosticism was anyway.
VinceVicious - January 19, 2009, 5:33 pm
motifake, thanks for the link. I learned a little more but I can't accurately define my beliefs based on the reading. I'm between agnostic atheist and agnostic theist, becuase I don't know if God exists so I can't say he exists nor deny his existence.
motifake - January 19, 2009, 5:25 pm

This debate is meaningless without understand the difference between agnosticism and atheism. READ THIS FIRST http://wiki.ironchariots.org/index.php?title=Atheist_vs._Agnostic - they are not mutually exclusive
VinceVicious - January 19, 2009, 5:10 pm
Did I say God doesn't exist? No I'm just searching for the TRUTH of things. Must I get ridiculed for that?
DotDotDot - January 19, 2009, 4:55 pm
The only proof anyone should ever need is the proof they give themselves and as an agnostic the proof is simple. The proof that you can neither prove or disprove any religion. Or are you just trying to get a laugh watching them try? lol
Culos - January 19, 2009, 4:52 pm
You guys have a problem. By claiming to be agnostics you react to something you say does not exist. That logic fails.... There are asylums full of people with similar ideas like being Napoleon. Furthermore Ron is the devil so if he exists, God does too.
Sean - January 19, 2009, 4:46 pm
... or can we?
Sean - January 19, 2009, 4:46 pm
Yeah! AGNOSTICS UNITE ... and maybe go for a cofee, or maybe a beer, or uhm ice cream? Oh hell, somebody decide already, we can't stand here forever ....
